Serve You Rx has been approved through the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) .Pharmacy Verified Websites Program. Earning approval through the .Pharmacy Program enabled Serve You Rx to register a “.pharmacy” domain name for its website (serve-you-rx.pharmacy) in addition to its “.com” domain, allowing consumers to more easily recognize the Serve You Rx website as a trustworthy location to order prescription medications. Because NABP’s “seal of approval” is in the website address, it cannot be replicated or faked.
The .Pharmacy Program was created to provide consumers around the world with a means for easily identifying safe and legitimate pharmacies or pharmacy-related websites. Since .pharmacy is a verified domain, applicants must undergo an evaluation process based on ten core safety standards to be approved, involving areas such as licensure, location, legal compliance, privacy, patient services, website transparency, affiliates, and more.
According to NABP, out of the more than 11,500 websites selling prescription drugs that it has reviewed, only four percent follow pharmacy laws and standards established to protect the public health. Additionally, 89 percent do not require a valid prescription, and half of the websites reviewed offer drugs that are foreign or not approved by the Food and Drug Administration, many of which may be dangerous counterfeits. Health and regulatory agencies in the United States and abroad have reported cases of patients harmed by counterfeit, substandard, and adulterated medications distributed by rogue online drug sellers.
